Wonder, Amazing, Unforgettable
Almost at a loss for words at how good, amazing, and wonderful this tour was. Fillipe was our guide and driver. Wow- he was the best guide I've ever had for a trip of any kind. The sights were amazing, but the visits to the vineyards and wineries were unforgettable. Small family farms and wonderful hosts who shared so much about their love for their craft and let us sample some amazing wines/ports.

wine, scenery, and local warmth, the perfect way to experience the Douro Valley
The full-day tour of the Douro Valley from Porto was one of the real highlights of our Portugal trip. The drive was stunning, with winding roads, steep terraced vineyards, and endless green hillsides. Our guide, Andreia, was friendly, well-organised, and full of passion for the region’s wine and history. The day struck a perfect balance between sightseeing, learning, tasting, and relaxing. We visited two vineyards, each with its own character. The ports were excellent (of course), but the local wines were a real surprise. Lunch was served family style in a converted schoolhouse, which made for great conversation and lots of laughter. The short boat trip on the Douro was calm and scenic. It’s a great day and worth every minute. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Andreia!

Great tour!
We had a great time - small tour, just 5 people total, wonderful guide. It was raining on and off, but that didn't stop us from having fun and enjoying beautiful vistas and delicious wines. Perfect way to see the Douro valley and sample local wines and ports.
