During your visit, you'll discover the unique terroir that defines Quinta da Pedra Alta, from the schist soils and steep vineyard terraces to the historic Marcos Pombalinos that remain on the property. Under the guidance of resident winemaker João Pires, the estate combines generations of Douro tradition with a modern vision focused on expressing the character of this remarkable land.

Your experience includes a guided visit through the vineyards, winery and ageing cellar, where you'll gain insight into every stage of production, from hand-harvested grapes to barrel ageing and blending.
