Experience Porto’s Culinary Delights at Time Out Market
April 30, 2024
Porto attracts thousands of tourists yearly due to its beauty, history, and culture. With its aesthetic appeal, urban fabric, and numerous historic buildings spanning over a millennium, Porto is recognized as a masterpiece of human creativity. Its harmonious blend of streets and the Douro River creates a panoramic view that captivates both residents and visitors.
In addition to the architectural and landscape values, the city of Porto has its own identity—a reflection of human experiences throughout the ages, evident in its Historic Center, one of the main criteria that led to its classification as a World Heritage Site.
The new Time Out Market Porto will emerge in the heart of the city, next to emblematic buildings like the São Bento train station.

Following the huge success of Time Out Market Lisbon in 2014, a new concept has arrived in Porto, sure to delight locals and boost the ever-evolving tourist sector.
Its inauguration, originally scheduled for the end of 2023, is now set for 12:30 pm on May 3rd.
Covering an area of around 2,000 square meters, and refurbished by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, winner of the 2011 Pritzker Prize for architecture, this market will feature several leading names in Porto’s gastronomy scene. Chefs like Rui Paula (two stars), Vasco Coelho Santos (holder of a Michelin star), Nuno Castro, Ricardo Costa (two stars), Inês Diniz, and Rafaela Louzada will be among them.
In addition to all these renowned chefs, this space will feature several well-known establishments, such as the restaurants Fava Tonka, Curb, Casa Inês, Meia-Nau, Okra Pizzaria, Tábua Rasa, Brusco Burger, and Padaria Ribeiro.
In all, there will be 14 restaurants, two bars, and a 21-meter iron and glass tower with two spaces and a privileged view over the city. An event that is not to be missed.
